In the 80s, Braniff Airlines ran a campaign with the slogan “Fly in Leather”. This translated to “Vuela en Cuero” for their Spanish-speaking customers, locally interpreted as “Fly Naked”. I’m not saying that’s why they went broke, but…why take the risk? Translation requires adapting to local contexts—let me take care of that for you!
